In our creative workshop, we take inspiration from a current exhibition at Form/Design Center and use it as a starting point for our own making. Each session has a new theme where children discover design and form by experimenting, building and trying different materials and techniques.
At this session, we draw inspiration from the exhibition Plastbantarna and give new life to old fabrics while reducing plastic use in the kitchen. We will learn how to make our own beeswax wraps – a sustainable alternative to plastic wrap. Feel free to bring a piece of scrap fabric from home (thin cotton only), decorate it on site, and transform it into a practical beeswax wrap that can be used again and again.
The workshop is led by educator Anna Zingmark and is aimed at children aged 6–14. Participation is free of charge and no prior experience is required – curiosity and the joy of creating are all you need.
