Privacy Policy

From 25 May 2018, the EU's new data protection rules, abbreviated GDPR, apply. The General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 requires data controllers to ensure that sufficient guarantees are provided to the individual user and to take the technical and organizational measures required for data processing to take place in a secure manner.

As an association that protects privacy issues, we at Form/Design Center have developed a privacy policy that will help you understand what data we collect, what we use this data for and how you can exercise your rights. This privacy policy is thus intended to ensure that the Form/Design Center processes personal data belonging to our users in accordance with the user's instructions and in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.

1. Collection of information and tracking

1.1 When you visit our website

Form/Design Center uses Google Analytics and cookies to improve our service, our user-friendliness and to analyze how the website is used. Apart from the IP address, the information that Google Analytics collects is mostly traffic data such as browser information, device and language. We do not collect other information such as age, gender, interests, bank details or what you click on. The information collected is only used to create an overview of how the website is used. The information is not used for anything else, such as to see who visits the website.

2. When contacting Form/Design Center

Form/Design Center is run by Svensk Form Syd, which is a legally independent regional association of the Swedish Form Association.

2.1 Member and subscriber contacts

If you choose to become a member or subscribe to Form magazine, your personal information will be registered in customer service in Föreningen Svensk Form's member register at the membership and subscription service Pressdata, which together with Svensk Form's office handles all membership information in the association, including information about the members of the thirteen regional associations. The purpose of the treatment is to be able to carry out our assignment, inform you about news and events within the framework of our business and carry out our employer tasks. Categories of personal information are name, e-mail address, address, telephone number. If a person applies for membership in Svensk Form, the person automatically becomes a member of one of the regional associations. If you live in Skåne or Blekinge, you belong to Svensk Form Syd - Form / Design Center. Pressdata handles all customer service to the members and the information is only used within Svensk Form. All personal information is deleted automatically when a person terminates their membership and / or subscription. In 2018, personal and bank account information for payment of membership fees will also be handled by Autocard, a payment solution for paying membership fees that can be done every two months and paid automatically with a registered bank or credit card. All handling of payments and bank account information is handled only centrally by Föreningen Svensk Form.

2.2 Application for a vacancy or internship

If you are applying for a vacancy at Form / Design Center, we store and handle the personal information that you have provided to us for recruitment purposes in order to be able to contact you. If you agree to future recruitment opportunities or other future contact, we may, after your written approval, also store the information for the purpose of contacting you for another job or information about our business.

2.3 Registration for events

Registration for our events takes place either via email or via an external booking system, Invajo. When your data is managed in these external systems, the privacy policy of each system applies. When you register for our events via email, you agree that we handle your personal information for this purpose. The handling of your data for this purpose may, after your approval, also be synced over to our address register Mailchimp for future mailings. We apply the opt-in principle, ie. that you must consent to us handling your contact information in our address register.

2.4 Distribution of newsletters and other recurring information

All subscribers to our newsletters have agreed to be recipients of our newsletters and thus be included in our address register. With each new mailing of information or newsletter, there is always the option to choose to be deleted from the address register, so-called opt-out. When registering a new address, we apply the opt-in principle in all contexts, ie you must actively consent to us handling your contact information in our address register in the e-mail communication tool Mailchimp.

3. Information security

Form/Design Center is careful about the security of personal information. When Form/Design Center collects information about you, we also ensure that the information is protected against unauthorized access, loss, manipulation, forgery, destruction or unauthorized disclosure. This is done through appropriate technical and organizational measures. Only a limited number of employees have access to certain personal information and we always correct information that we know is incorrect.

4. Access to information

You have the right to request an extract of the personal data attributable to you that we process. You can do this by contacting us at marina@formdesigncenter.com. We make sure that you receive a copy of the information we have about you. In order to do this securely, we may ask you to verify your identity. We will send the information digitally to you, unless you request otherwise. For any subsequent request for an extract, we may charge you an administrative fee.

5. Correction and deletion of information

If you believe that the information we have stored about you is incorrect, please feel free to contact us so that we can update it. Information that we no longer have use for is deleted on an ongoing basis. If at any time you do not want the Form/Design Center to store your information anymore, please contact us.

6. Links to other websites

Our privacy policy applies to our services on our website with the following url address; formdesigncenter.com. Our website also contains links to other websites, so-called third-party websites. When you choose to visit these, our privacy policy no longer applies and the Form / Design Center is not responsible for any processing of your personal data that your visit to a third-party website may result in.

7. Changes

We reserve the right to make changes to our privacy policy and continually review the content to continually improve it. The Form / Design Center will not diminish your rights set forth herein without requesting approval of the changes. You can find any changes to our privacy policy on our website.

8. Summary

By law, we may collect limited information about you in order to improve our services.
• We do not sell any information or share it with us to third parties
• We do not use information for anything other than what we provide
• We ensure that all information is stored securely
• We delete all information that we no longer have use for
• We continuously review our privacy policy to improve it and increase your security
• You can request, correct or delete information Form/Design Center stored about you at any time
