Malmö Gallery Weekend started in 1997 as a Gallery Night and since then has been an annual highlight for all art lovers as galleries and art institutions are jointly open during the last weekend in September. Visitors come from all over the Öresund region to take part in Malmö's multifaceted art and cultural life.

In 2023, the artist-run textile workshop 'Textiltryck Malmö' turns 40! This is celebrated with a curated exhibition of works produced at the workshop, by the workshop's members, over the past 40 years.

The association 'Nutida Svenskt Silver' turns 60 and celebrates the anniversary year with a shimmering exhibition in the spirit of creativity and community.
→ LIFE AND DEATH
An exhibition that highlights and discusses the burial site as a green, spiritual, multicultural and public living room in the city.
→ NOISY NEIGHBOURS
In NOISY NEIGHBOURS, think tank CSAM studies processes and methods that maintain and enable the city's mixed vitality and allow sound, industry and movement.
→ COMMON GROUNDS
Se en publik miljö byggt av spillmaterial växa fram när designstudion Malmö Upcycling Service bjuder in Londonbaserade RESOLVE COLLECTIVE till Hedmanska gården. Det ges även möjlighet för besökare att hjälpa till att bygga.
SEMINAR:
→ Lecture: Common Grounds
Malmö Upcycling Service (M.U.S) and RESOLVE COLLECTIVE give a lecture about circular design and how to work site-specifically with local actors and citizens. The seminar is held in connection with the construction of the exhibition Common Grounds, which takes place at Hedmanska gården.

Nordisk Panorama Film Festival brings the best Nordic short films and documentaries to Malmö, Sweden. At Form/Design Center we show one of the festival's films on floor 3.

Creative workshop with the theme of architecture for children and young people. A table is set with everything the children need to explore their creativity.
