Finn Williams, City Architect at the City of Malmö, moderates a conversation on public education initiatives and grassroots engagement. The discussion highlights various local initiatives, including the Malmö Initiative, and explores what happens when Malmö residents themselves submit proposals for the city’s development. We will discuss how tools such as “Min Plats” and “Malmö in the Making” can be further developed to create a real impact. Malmö möts is a democracy week during which Malmö comes together to focus on democracy and explore the future. The programme combines conversations and knowledge-sharing with experiences that move, engage, and inspire both laughter and reflection — through encounters taking place across the city and welcoming more people to take part.
