Open Architecture Studio offers fellow professionals and curious Malmö residents a unique opportunity to explore ongoing projects and processes over two days, 24–25 September 2026. The initiative aims to create a platform for broader conversations about architecture, placing dialogue, process and outcomes at the centre.

Who Can Participate

  • Architects working within architecture, interior architecture, urban planning and landscape architecture.
  • Building conservation specialists.
  • Institutions and public-sector organisations.

The Concept Is Simple

As a participating office, you decide whether to take part for one or both days, and what you would like to present or talk about. Your programme activity can take place at your office, as a site visit, or in another format of your choosing.

To ensure that visitors can experience Open Architecture Studio as a whole, it is important that your office is open and hosts its activity at some point between 15:00 and 19:00 (longer opening hours are, of course, welcome).

Through the registration link below, Form/Design Center coordinates the event and gathers information to make it accessible to visitors.

How to Participate

  1. Decide which day(s) you would like to participate and what projects, processes or ideas you would like to present.
  2. Register via the link below. You will be asked to provide your office name, location, contact person, date and opening hours, information about your programme activity, a website link and an image.
  3. Participating offices are responsible for their own staffing, costs and programme content.

After registration, Form/Design Center will create a digital map featuring all participating offices, including addresses and programme information. Information about Open Architecture Studio will be shared with visitors through our website, newsletters and social media channels.

Graphic material for promotion and sharing, as well as signage and posters, will be available for download.

To document the event, Form/Design Center’s photographer will visit a selection of participating offices.
