100 Grams: Edition 2 is a series of 100 unique porcelain objects exploring the relationship between desirability and function. Each piece begins with exactly 100 grams of clay, serving as a strict starting point for an investigation into form and drawing, and the ways in which they influence each other. Every piece is hand-formed and hand-painted, resulting in individual works intrinsically connected through their shared starting point.

The pieces are displayed as an installation arranged in a 10 by 10 grid. As pieces from the edition are sold, only their numbers will remain on the plinth—serving as a reminder of their place within the complete edition.

The exhibition also features a limited edition of screen prints based on photographs of the objects. Each print captures a detail from the original works and offers another way to experience them beyond their three-dimensional form.

Jennifer Idrizi

Jennifer Idrizi is a British multidisciplinary artist based in Lund, Sweden. She studied at Central Saint Martins and the Royal College of Art in London, and has exhibited her work internationally, including in the US, UK, Sweden, Denmark, Vietnam, and Albania.

Jennifer works across a variety of media, choosing materials and methods that best suit each idea or project. Her practice often begins with specific instructions, which lead to subtle variations through her interpretation during the making process.

My work often begins with a perfectly simple idea, but it is far from perfect as it unfolds. Through repetition, I focus on the question at hand, partly anticipating outcomes while also allowing things to unfold naturally. Sensitive dependence on conditions such as mood, response, mistakes, change, and time shapes and influences my process.
