Business Speed Dating connects designers, craft artists, and other creatives with potential clients, commissioners, and collaboration partners from a wide range of industries. The meetings are held in a speed dating format, where participants briefly present their businesses, ideas, and needs to one another through short conversations.
The concept was developed in collaboration with Visit Skåne and The Open Innovation Arena, with the aim of creating connections between creatives and companies from different sectors. The initiative is built on openness and a low threshold for participation — the meetings take place without preconditions, and participants are not committed to any further collaboration. At the same time, new points of contact are created that may lead to future projects, commissions, and business relationships.
Participants are selected through an open call, and each edition has a specific theme or focus area.
