Tilda Mårtensson is an illustrator and graphic designer, educated at HDK's design program in Gothenburg (University of Design and Crafts). Today she lives and works in Lund. Tilda is passionate about form and illustration and is happy to take on different types of creative assignments. Her work includes everything from editorial illustration, publication, poster and clothing illustration to mural painting and graphic design for companies.
Tilda likes to work in mixed techniques as an illustrator, depending on the assignment and the customer's wishes. It can be anything from gouache or ink to digital image work. Characteristic of her imagery are playful, naive forms that are combined with large color fields. Realistic imagery with straight pencil strokes does not feel as interesting, and therefore she strives to work in the opposite direction. Tilda likes when an illustration rubs and sees the imperfect as perfect.
