During the workshop you will get to try the basics of wood carving and work with different types of materials. Morakniv will provide carving knives, and simple materials will be available to use free of charge. For those who would like to try more advanced options, pre-cut shapes such as butter knives, Dala horses, and stools will be available at cost price.

The workshop takes its starting point in the current exhibition Swedese x Morakniv – En hyllning till hantverket at Form/Design Center, where nine designers have used a carving knife to leave their mark on a wooden stool made from leftover materials. Representatives from Swedese and Morakniv will be present and will begin with a short introduction to the project. Designer Louise Hederström, who is represented in the exhibition, will also participate during the day.
